Edom ART Lab operates as a business simulator. Workshop participants participate in all aspects of the planning, execution and analysis of Business Simulator Workshop revenue generating activities.
From initial business plan through to budgeting, scheduling, purchasing raw materials, production, marketing, and sales, students learn all aspects of an art-based business. They also participate in the profit and loss analysis of these activities after the events.
Workshop participants will be encouraged to think like business owners and treat the Edom ART Lab Business Simulator Workshop money making activities as if they were managing their own business. And when they reach or exceed their forecasted profit numbers, they receive a cash bonus (small though it may be) for motivation and to illustrate the way entrepreneurship works.
